Quick relevant info about me: I'm a young guy who somehow navigated his life to date being bad at most things but found what he was good at and stuck to it. I have surpassed the majority of my peers objectively due to a bit of luck. I say this not to brag but to emphasize that said facts used to be how i would define myself and over the past year i have come to realize I was wrong. Ive been in a relationship over the past10 years since college. Thought we would marry but it was not to be... thank god.... Looking back, i let the things that actually matter to me the most fall by the wayside and artificial things above take over. It took a part of that life being the GF not working out followed by a year of hard work and time spent repairing meaningful but neglected friendships and relationships with friends family, colleagues, schoolmates, along with many hours of self reflection to get to the moment I am at now. I have only been with one woman since college, I don't take that fact lightly, this is why i wanted to get my shit together prior to testing the waters. Ill say this, I am open to absolutely anything because i deserve it but I feel good about the uncertainty ahead because of the work Ive put in to achieve clarity.
