Back for a minute or two

Well, looks like things have changed a bit on this site.
Is it progress or just annoying?
In my life, we moved to the other side of town and then of course, the city proceeded to rip out the previously very convenient access road. Arggghhh
I am getting used to living on this side of town but am finding my old habits dont work here..some for the better and some for the worse. Can't complain too much. I have only lived in this house for a month and a half so far. Still can't find erasers, staplers, and my birth certificate. All are replaceable but still...
I find that I am an older person here. Other residents seem to have young children. Oh Well, I have 2 grandchildren now ..and I never thought I would ever have grand kids. Goes to show, that anything can change.

Tiny bites

Sent my daughter to micky D for those mostly burned apple pies they sell..she didnt come back with any. Sent my daughter to Timmy's and she came back with 5 tiny bites of apple pastry.
What the heck..lol
I would rather have 1 apple pastry than 5 tiny bites with hardly any filling..
Next:
Ole grumpy came to the lethbridge house to stay for a few days. He has been sniffling and snorting...clearing his throat steadily...blowing his nose. I said.."you have a cold". He proceeded to give me 20 reasons why he did not..
If you're sick, what is the point of fighting and saying.."No,I dont" in a steadily louder voice.
Is this "old man syndrome? Or just "ole grumpy " syndrome?
I give up.
If he makes me sick with a cold again, I will not be happy.

The weather here was so beautiful. I was going to wash the car but I forgot about it.
Yes, the temperature was a balmy 7 degrees celcius this afternoon, but it had a bite to it. Soon the temperature dropped to minus 15 degrees celcius.
Right now its so light outside, at 11:30 pm, that its like daylight. A layer of snow is on everything and my house feels chilly.
The weather is a drama queen, demanding our attention. Good thing our Canadian houses our well insulated and we have really good furnaces!
Back to bed for me...

I hope the new year arrives with good times ahead.
Things are OK in my life.
I'm a bit bored..trying to figure out when I can go to Cow Town. If only the weather would stay good for long enough.
I maybe. 60 years old, but they say that's the new 40.
Life is still very full.

After finding some early black friday sales, my truck is full of stuff to take to the farm. The farm house got neglected for a few years. So now ..a few new things to spruce up the farm house a little. Nothing can be as good as new paint and new floors..but that might have to wait for another year or two.
Its always exciting to get new stuff.

It isnt easy...
You know.. if you are really turned on.. It's hard to behave...
but in other ways too...
Like if someone gets on your nerves... It's hard to not be rude back to them.
Or if someone says they will do something for you.. and they don't...
Over ..
and over..
And over again.. they just don't do what they said they would..
or when someone rages at you.. it's hard to not rage back at them..
Or when someone spends all their money and expects you to pay for their expense... ya.. it makes me upset.. and I have to control what I say..
But lately...I just have been hornier than a horny toad..
I tried to write some other blogs.. but they poofed for some reason..
Guess I was still sick when I tried to write them.. and accidentally caused them to disappear..
If a tall dark handsome guy, were to come visit me .. I'd be grateful..
Very very grateful.. 
I don't feel sick anymore.. ..Time for jiggy jiggy bush bush.. or bush and no bush..
lol.. whatever...

Yet..
I am still coughing and blowing my nose.
No sneezing, so I guess that is progress.
Its weird how there is a kind of tickle in my chest, or bronchial tubes. Cant scratch..lol
Oh look..I laughed..that is also progress.
Word to the wise..go get your flu shot.
I seriously mean get your butt in gear and get the flu shot.
Dont be moaning and groaning if you get this flu.
I did warn you!

Daughter in law is headed 8 hours or so north to see her family.
She is taking tbe 3 month old baby with her

Hi
Its almost halloween.
Daughter has a great cat costume.
I will probably stay home with my box of tissues and she can give out candy. Its hard to be cheerful when I am constantly blowing my nose, sneezing, and coughing. Im not sure if this is the dreaded flu or just a really nasty cold.
Anyways, i took Ny_quill tonight, finally, because I really need some sleep.
Drinking water, taking vitamins, and resting is all I can do now.
And taking my tissue box every where.and constantly washing my hands.
Ugh..
No hugs today.
