I was driving down the road and saw an artificial (I hope they were) set of testicles dangling from the trailer hitch of a pickup truck. My first reaction was “WTF”? Then I was thinking about how many other odd accessories I have seen on cars. I also have a couple questions. Do you add accessories to your vehicles? Do you think “unusual” add ons are cool? I usually keep my vehicles pretty much stock, with the only addition being slightly wider tires. Here are some accessories that I have seen while driving around.
Here is something like the Truck nuts I saw
They even have a variety of style!!!
Paste on bullet holes
I actually remember this pattern from my youth
An artistic paint job
Hood ornaments sure have changed
Tick on Baseballs?
Special lighting
Eye lashes?
I really don’t like the stick figures

Today is the 15th Anniversary of a Day that will live in infamy for our generation. It is so difficult to think it has been that long since the cowardly attack by Terrorists against Two locations here in the United States and the thwarting of a third attack by the passengers of an airliner at the cost of their lives. We now have teenagers that were not born at the time of these attacks. My eldest Godson was actually born 13 days after this happened. This generation has no concept of what things were like pre 9/11. For me the decade after 9/11 was the most intense of my military career , with heart ache, loss of dear friends, ultimately a divorce and it changed me more than anything else in my life. I think it is important to remember the victims, the Police, Fireman and others that ran towards the “troubles” while prudent people tried to escape. Unfortunately many of them paid for that dedication with their lives. Of the 2,977 people killed in the September 11 attacks, 414 were emergency workers in New York City who responded to the World Trade Center. This included: 341 firefighters and 2 paramedics from the New York City Fire Department (FDNY);[1] 37 police officers from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Police Department (PAPD);[2] 23 police officers from the New York City Police Department (NYPD);[3] and 8 emergency medical technicians and paramedics from private hospital units dispatched through the 911 system, as well as commercial ambulance groups brought in under "mutual aid" for this disaster emergency medical services.[4][5] 3 New York State Court Officers[6] Let us take some time, no matter your country of origin and remember these brave souls and pass their legend on to our . And of course a prayer for the innocents that died that day.
Timeline of the action that day
Rushing to the incident, while others escaped
Father Mychal Judge, Fire Department Chaplain, who paid the ultimate price for his service that day
Helping rescues
Twin Towers before
Twin Towers when struck
They are angels amongst us, I truly believe they still look over us
That fateful field in Pennsylvania, a Memorial to the Passengers Courage, avoiding even more deaths
The Pentagon
Teach our about service before self and the true meaning of courage

I am talking about these #$%^&*( cell phones!! They seem to be everywhere. Consuming people and their activities. In many ways it seems to be delaying significantly their brains maturation. I was talking to a woman yesterday and to her at least it has even invaded the bedroom. Every time you ask about how to do something, they say there is an app for that! I do not want an" an "F ing" app for that". I like using what brain capacity I may have to do stuff. How about you are cell phones that important to you? Have you seen any "fails with cell phones?

Well, it is here. The day I always looked forward to during my working career. An end to the working grind, and the beginning of a short respite from work. Either time to enjoy some diversions or do some manual labor round the house, or if I was lucky both . How would you like to spend your Friday (or your equivalent if you do not have weekends off)? What was your "funnest" (I know , but I like the sound of it ) start to a weekend you can remember?

I got bitten by a music bug yesterday. I heard two songs that are on my summer play list. They do have some very pleasant memories from days gone by. For me, so many times a memory, be it good or bad gets associated with music. Maybe that is what music is for?. If you look these up on "The Tube", you will probably get a smile. Do you have a favorite type of music, maybe a favorite song or two? And no! is not music
Where the boys are,,, Connie Francis
Where the boys are, someone waits for me A smilin' face, a warm embrace, two arms to hold me tenderly
Where the boys are, my true love will be He's walkin' down some street in town and I know he's lookin' there for me
In the crowd of a million people I'll find my valentine And then I'll climb to the highest steeple and tell the world he's mine
Till he holds me I'll wait impatiently Where the boys are, where the boys are Where the boys are, someone waits for me
Till he holds me I'll wait impatiently Where the boys are, where the boys are Where the boys are, someone waits for me
Don't Bring Me Down – ELO
You got me runnin' goin' out of my mind, You got me thinkin' that I'm wastin' my time. Don't bring me down, no no no no no, I'll tell you once more before I get off the floor Don't bring me down.
You wanna stay out with your fancy friends. I'm tellin' you it's got to be the end, Don't bring me down, no no no no no no no no, I'll tell you once more before I get off the floor Don't bring me down.
Don't bring me down, groos Don't bring me down, groos Don't bring me down, groos Don't bring me down.
What happened to the girl I used to know? You let your mind out somewhere down the road, Don't bring me down, no no no no no, I'll tell you once more before I get off the floor Don't bring me down.
You're always talkin' 'bout your crazy nights, One of these days you're gonna get it right. Don't bring me down, no no no no no, I'll tell you once more before I get off the floor Don't bring me down.
Don't bring me down, groos Don't bring me down, groos Don't bring me down, groos Don't bring me down.
You're lookin' good just like a snake in the grass, One of these days you're gonna break your glass. Don't bring me down, no no no no no no no no, I'll tell you once more before I get off the floor Don't bring me down.
You got me shakin' got me runnin' away You got me crawlin' up to you everyday, Don't bring me down, no no no no no, I'll tell you once more before I get off the floor Don't bring me down.
I'll tell you once more before I get off the floor Don't bring me down.

+++ Thoughts about maturing

I recently took some time to contemplate the impact that my "maturing has had on me. Frankly , I think they are positive. Sure, I may have lost a "hitch in my giddyup", but I am still having fun. Since the act of aging does not discriminate, we are all moving along on the chronological ladder. How is it effecting you? Do you really notice any changes?
A little old lady, well into her eighties, slowly enters the front door of an erotic sex shop. Obviously very unstable on her feet, she shakily hobbles the few feet across the store to the counter. Finally arriving at the counter and grabbing it for support, she asks the sales clerk: "Ddddooo youuuu hhhave dddddildosss?" The clerk, politely trying not to burst out laughing, replies: Yes we do have dildos. Actually we carry many models." The old woman asks: "Dddddoooo yyyouuuu hhhave aaa pppinkk one, tttenn inchessss lllong aaandd aabboutt tttwoo inchesss thththiiickkk?" The clerk responds,"Yes we do". "Ccccccannnn yyyyouuuu tttelll mmmmeeee hhhhowwww ttttoooo ttturrrnnn ttthe ffffuucccckkkkinggg ttthingggg offffff?"
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
This elderly lady went to the doctor for a check-up. Everything checked out fine. The old lady pulled the doctor to the side and said, ''Doctor, I haven't had sex for years now and I was wondering how I can increase my husband's sex drive.'' The doctor smiled and said, ''Have you tried to give him Viagra?'' The lady frowned. ''Doctor, I can't even get him to take aspirin when he has a headache,'' she claimed. ''Well,'' the doctor continued, ''Let me suggest something. Crush the Viagra into a powder. When you are giving him coffee, stir it into the coffee and serve it. He won't notice a thing.'' The old lady was delighted. She left the doctor's office quickly. Weeks later the old lady returned. She was frowning and the doctor asked her what was wrong. She shook her head. ''How did it go?'' the doctor asked. ''Terrible, doctor, terrible.'' ''Did it not work?'' ''Yes,'' the old lady said, ''It worked. I did as you said and he got up and ripped his clothes off right then and there and we made mad love on the table. It was the best sex that I'd had in 25 years.'' ''Then what is the problem, ma'am?'' ''Well,'' she said. ''I can't ever show my face in McDonald's again.

Actually I am talking about holding hands. It is a seemingly simple gesture that has so much significance. Just having a woman's hand in mine brings out so many emotions, affection, a feeling that I am protecting her, a caring feeling. While hand holding, we can communicate without talking. Is hand holding important to you? Is it for only special times , or an impulse that makes it occur most times? Or do you think it could convey a too "possessive" attitude?

~+~ Labor Day in United States,,

Labor Day is annually held on the first Monday of September. It was originally organized to celebrate various labor associations' strengths of and contributions to the United States economy. It is largely a day of rest in modern times. Many people mark Labor Day as the end of the summer season and a last chance to make trips or hold outdoor events. The first Labor Day was held in 1882. Its origins stem from the desire of the Central Labor Union to create a holiday for workers. It became a federal holiday in 1894. It was originally intended that the day would be filled with a street parade to allow the public to appreciate the work of the trade and labor organizations. After the parade, a festival was to be held to amuse local workers and their families. In later years, prominent men and women held speeches. This is less common now, but is sometimes seen in election years. One of the reasons for choosing to celebrate this on the first Monday in September was to add a holiday in the long gap between Independence Day and Thanksgiving.
If you celebrate Labor Day, do you have any special traditions? Is it just the end of summer and one last day off? Or , as was always our tradition, it was in fact a day of labor, getting caught up on work outside?

Well, it would seem that the storm named Hermine is a no show here. However, the News media locally is invested in the story. They have their "Storm" teams out . They are reporting on each other who are reporting on each other . I am not complaining and I am quite happy that it will be a nothing here. So I think I will stay in since I have no plans for the weekend. It may be time to fully test the inside, and then the outside hot tubs. Maybe more lounging. I am easily lead astray and tempted to just relax. Do you enjoy sharing your bath , hot tub , shower or couch ?

It appears that Hurricanes Hermine is on it way here from Florida along the coast. It is actually a tropical storm now. Apparently it will arrive off the New Jersey coast sometime later today or tomorrow. It will not be too serious (I think) . So? what to do? I have a plan. Why not take advantage of the situation? Practice my preparations for adverse weather! Of course most will not be needed. But the snuggle aspect must be constantly be exercised. With high winds, and rains ,the comfort of being in some ones arms can not be underestimated . So how about you? In the event of some sort of large storm, do you have any type of routine you follow?

I don't mean in a bad way. I mean in the way that you enjoy the sight of your partner. I never fail to enjoy her body, just watching as she dresses and undresses. Walking around nude. I think it is a level of trust in a relationship when you do can be "exposed" to your partner without embarrassment. I know that we all do not have the stereo typical model bodies, nor should we. Sharing that little wiggle and giggle is fun. So with this in mind, are you a perv?

It has been awhile, I think it is time for some ice cream. However there is a dilemma ,, what type, what flavor? Do I want it soft? Hard? Vanilla , strawberry ,or who knows what. I know there are so many gourmet types to chose from. But I remember as a eating the " stuff" and having so much fun. When was the last time you had ice cream? What flavor? What style, soft or hard (keep focused, I mean ice cream )
