Yes that is embarrassing. However, the person who invades your privacy should feel some shame for doing so. We are adults and it is okay to have sexual items in our possession.

I don't embarrass very easy but people who come into my home respects me enough not to go into my room and I don't bother them if they leave me alone..if something is out in the open where they can see it when they walk by my room its not a big deal...I only ever had to put a lock on my door when I was renting with others ..they get pissed at me once in awhile and go in my room , last time that happened I put a lock on my door and warned them if they went in police would be called...it stopped ..lol

Your right about the door and lock it a shame you have to but the real ? Is what was she looking for. what you do in your bed room is your own business you a grown beautiful woman. My friend had to put a pad lock on his bed door for his brother was on drugs and was stealing money or other thing he could sell for drugs. hope and pray this is not part of the story. Locks are only for honest people.

That would really tick me off. I would get a locked box and hide it somewhere. And lock my room with a dead bolt.

Ok... That would freak me out... But not because they'd find anything.. It's your room.
Yep. m. That would annoy me. In the meantime.... I guess it might have been a more tragic revelation for them, than your reaction to their invasion of your space..
😶 It's all good... It's all good.. What can can you do?

What's even worse is finding batteries low on your Vibes and your Lube Tube going down....

Hey Darlin,
........My life fluctuates between chaos and disorder pretty regularly, so by now I’ve become accustomed to it,.......There was this quote from the intro to “The Art of War” about finding peace in chaos and change, while addressing oneself to the time,......Shit, probably should have wrote that one down,......Maybe next time,.......

i would not be embarrassed...as we are already adult...even if we are someone's child, we have some needs...for personal pleasuring...

but seriously i am concerned is that, even my kids know it's bad to snoop around my bedroom...if they need something, they should ask me first...instead of going into my room and retrieving something...it's my room, and i am an adult...it's not like i have a gun laying around, thankfully my sex toys are the worst weapon there but hey...still they need to be taught to knock on the closed door, and if no one in the room, they should not go in...

it's all about respecting others...

I saw a cartoon somewhere, I can't find it again. Mom was entertaining visitors in the living room, and the small child comes in, saying "this flashlight I found in your drawer won't light up, it just shakes" as he holds up a vibrator.

I live alone, and even before my son moved out, I in fact do have guns laying around. He was cool with it, in fact he's armed security now. Only a couple for use, others are in various states of repair, upgrade, or modification. After university I lived with my parents for a couple of years while I established myself. My mom was for some reason in my room tidying up. She didn't find a stash of pr0n, booze, drugs, anything like that, but an AR in a case under the bed. I wasn't embarrassed, but the rents freaked a little.

I'm sorry people went through your stuff like that . Not nice! I was at the library today, and the book I was looking at needed to have its pages cut at the bottom. It was an old book, but I guess not much looked at...

Fuck!! I would be sooo fucking pissed!! It's one thing to be embarrassed by...things like this. But another to have your privacy invaded.

I had some friends over a few years ago and one of their kids wandered into my bedroom and came out waving my dildo (a good 12 incher) playing with it like it was a sword. THAT was awkward .
There was also another time I brought my then bf home for the first time. He was supposed to wait for me while I showered and changed for dinner. But I had left my bedroom door ajar and he saw my strap on on my bed (I think I was cleaning them out ) and he admitted to me a few months after that he got quite afraid I was gonna peg him or something. LOL

But yeah, those can be handled. Invasion of privacy? Fuck that. You'd be forgiven for flipping. I feel Soo mad for you

As an older person she would have been raised in a generation when you didn't snoop in other people's things, look in your mother's purse, search your days pockets all that stuff. They were definitely out of line and had to know they would find things they shouldn't see. It's gives me an "ick" feeling thinking about someone else touching my intimate things. Perhaps it's time for a discussion on boundaries

i read everyone's comments sorry i disagree expect the lady in ca . u all forget it is not her home . the eldery has the right to go in that room. if she changes the door to a locked door. the owner can have it removed back to the old door . why hide things and ashamed . sorry just being real and honest

I wouldn't care if someone was embarrassed by what they found in my bedroom because I'd be super pissed at them snooping like that. So replacing the knob with a lockable knob sounds like a good idea.

to the gentleman that believes that the owner of the house has a right to go through the occupants room...
one that would invade the privacy of another has no conception of the meaning of self respect...
to the OP instead of being horrified, or embarrassed... go out and buy bigger, brighter toys, and a box of triple x condoms...
and walk around the house with a grin on your face. every time you pass her look her in the eye and smile
transform her jealousy to envy

there is a world of difference between insanity and stupidity
