I've never proposed marriage, but I've been asked twice. The first time I was 24 and the second time I was 30. I declined both women and in retrospect, I'm sure I did the right thing. I've never even come close to proposing and if I ever do meet Ms. Right, I doubt that I would get married then either. If marriage had never been invented, most people would never come up with the idea on their own. They'd just live together without a contract. I get the spiritual part of it, but you don't need a contract to make personal vows and commitments.

No I haven't ever turned down a marriage proposal, as I have only gotten two and the first one I so wish I had, but then I wouldn't have my wonderful children. I think it would be totally embarrassing to propose to someone and be turned down that really sucks!!! Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

OMG, talk about the ultimate humiliation - having a very public proposal rejected!  With me and Mrs C it was all very matter of fact. I told her I'd accepted a job 1,000 miles away, and wanted her to come along. She said she wouldn't unless we were married, so I said, "OK-when can we do this?" We did - two weeks later. NOT romantic AT ALL - and maybe setting the scene for later. Come to think of it - did SHE propose to ME? Yes I have declined a marriage proposal, a gal was giving me a blow job and stopped and ask if I would like to be a daddy to her two boys. I think she planned it that way because I can't imagine the dick being that good. Ha ha Anything worth doing is worth doing right

ive been married twice ..divorced the firstr one and the second one passed away 4 years ago..however..in between there were two other proposals..one i said yes to but never married him..the other one i said no to because he proposed to me as i was breaking up with him. when he asked me to marry him..i looked into his eyes and did not see love there. i told him no.
